The mountain in Nago is covered with in a sea of pink and white cherry blossums. This years Nago Sakura Matsuri has been best I have seen in a few years. last year is rainned during the Matsuri and washed off most of the blossums. Normally I will drive to the top where this huge park is and have peaceful lunch while viewing the sakura trees and the view out to the the ocean. But this year I wanted to have some the Matsuri vendors food. I found shop that was serving Thai Curry for lunch today. Not very Japanese but it was nice and spicy.
The Nago Sakura Matsuri was not as busy as years past, but still there was lot of people out there. I bumped into some old friends as I walked around. It was good to see them again.
